Ann Newcomer will be teaching a writing class for students entering grades 9-12 for the 2022/2023 school year. The class will focus on helping students understand and practice four different styles of writing: expository, descriptive, persuasive, and narrative. Within those styles, students will practice different forms of writing, which may include essays, stories, journalistic writing, poetry, etc.
The class will meet once per week in the later afternoon on Tuesday or Thursday for 1.25 to 1.5 hours, depending on the size of the class. The cost of the class will be $10 to $15.
